They were done at a time when I was having problem saying me through my work, which is where the skeletons come in.
The Victorian puffin came first, before I had thought of skeletilising them. The Napoleonic Frog is something that was randomly generated and the Burgundian Rabbit was based off of our then SCA Lochac Queen's dress (Dad came up with the title of 'Hare Majesty' even though it's not a hare I don't think) which I did a drawing of which was just a sudden spark, that turned out when when drawn, not so good when painted sadly. But that Queen now has the piece, which she enjoyed immensely.
