This is a piece done at TAFE in my... second year, I think. Again it's working with the silhouette idea that I was obsessed with. It is only done with paper cut outs.The idea is based on my complete and utter love for vampires (which do not SPARKLE, for any of you who believe they do :P) and the character of Christine, played by Judith Godreche, in the 1998 version of Man in the Iron Mask with Leonardo DiCaprio.
I wanted this to portray the moment of ecstasy and, I guess, the right term is terror that is rumoured to be the result of when a vampire bites their intended 'victim'. It was tricky to work out, I ended up using several layers of tracing paper to work it out so they fit perfectly together...
